Response to Sexual Assault: Interagency guidelines for responding to adult victims of sexual assault
These guidelines are designed to improve responses to adult victims of sexual assault by promoting increased interagency cooperation and consultation. They were developed by Queensland Health, the Queensland Police Service, Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, Department of Families, Office for Women, Department of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Policy, Office of the Adult Guardian and Legal Aid Queensland (2001). National Standards of Practice Manual for Services Against Sexual Violence (NSPM)
Although the NSPM identified in 1998 a "need for more detailed standards for working with male victim/survivors" that "would need to address some of the unique issues faced by male victims and the implications for practice" this issue has not been followed up on at National level to date.
