Sex life: Family Planning Victoria

FPV is an independent, non profit-making organisation responsible to a voluntary board of directors. Their aim is to offer reliable, up-to-date and non-judgmental information about contraception, family planning, safe sex and sexual and reproductive health.
Sexual orientation is a complex, confusing phenomenon. Whilst we have commonly understood definitions of heterosexuality, homosexuality and bisexuality, the lived experiences of many people are that the narrow pigeonholes of these three terms are not adequate. FPV includes some information regarding sexuality and questions of sexual orientation.

The team for Project X consists of the staff from the Gay/MSM (Men who have sex with Men) Program at the Western Australian AIDS Council. Launched on the 30th September 2007, this space forms an information and support web which weaves together the various important programs.

Family Planning Queensland (FPQ) receives the majority of its funding from Queensland Health. With this funding, FPQ provides a comprehensive range of clinical, counselling, educational and training activities on family planning and sexual and reproductive health.

This site was developed by the Queensland government as a means to educate and promote youth in relation to sexual health and safety. Although this site is for young people the information is just as useful for adults.

The Queensland Association for Healthy Communities (QAHC) is an independent community based organisation. Originally the Queensland AIDS Council, we were formed in 1984 by a group of gay men in response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Queensland. From that time the Queensland AIDS Council grew to deliver HIV prevention programs, client services for people with HIV, peer support through Queensland Positive People and we provided a strong voice on HIV and gay issues
