Reach for help

If you are a man who has experienced sexual abuse or assault, or are a partner, family member, friend or supporter of a man, you can now talk to a professional Living Well counsellor, securely and confidentially, online. We offer web based live chat counselling or email counselling.

We understand that the decision as to whether or not to engage in any kind of counselling can be a difficult one to make, and counselling online has its own factors to consider as well. If you're unsure, you can read some more information to help you determine whether online counselling is right for you.

Otherwise, Living Well offers three ways to talk to a counsellor online, each with their own benefits and limitations. Please read the relevant information for each service type and choose the one you think will work best for you.

If your counsellor thinks an alternative service type may be more effective for you, he or she will suggest this in session, however ultimately the decision is up to you.
